# Prepare Website for Online Sale

The steps required to alter one of our Static Landing pages to reflect a short-term online discount/sale.

- [ ] Research Holiday we’re selling - Links, Dates, Annual?
- [ ] Pick Start time (Tuesday at Noon)
- [ ] Pick End Time (Friday at 6pm)
- [ ] Write Marketing Email, Include links to Holiday/Event Website
- [ ] Duplicate index.html on landing page
- [ ] Edit index.html to reflect sale prices, name index_sale.html for development
- [ ] Create New Header Graphic with Holiday Markup & Sale Prices
- [ ] HTML/CSS Swap at Sale Starting Time (alertbar.js, conversion.css, index.html)
- [ ] Send Marketing Email announcing Sale Start to Customer List
- [ ] Edit alertbar.js to Link to Sale Site
- [ ] Edit conversion.css to display Alertbars
- [ ] Keep a log of failed emails, remove from master email list.
- [ ] Revert HTML/CSS Swap at Sale End Time (alertbar.js, conversion.css, index.html)
- [ ] Send Handwritten Postcards to any Customers who purchase
